Με ενθουσιασμό ανακοινώνουμε σήμερα την επίσημη έναρξη λειτουργίας της ιστοσελίδας του project HIKE! Το ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα “HIKE: Η Πεζοπορία για έναν πιο υγιή τρόπο ζωής κατά μήκος των Ευρωπαϊκών Πολιτιστικών Διαδρομών” ξεκίνησε την 1η Απριλίου 2024.
Το έργο HIKE αναγνωρίστηκε επίσημα από την οργάνωση Interreg Europe ως εξαιρετικό παράδειγμα προώθησης της φυσικής δραστηριότητας που βελτιώνει την υγεία (HEPA – health-enhancing physical activity), σε συνδυασμό με την ανάδειξη της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς.
Το φθινόπωρο του 2024, το έργο HIKE ένωσε τοπικούς πληθυσμούς σε τρεις περιοχές μέσω των πεζοποριών και των σχετικών εκδηλώσεων που διεξήχθησαν με πνεύμα εορταστικό και έμφαση στις υγιεινές συνήθειες ενός ενεργού τρόπου ζωής στις χώρες αυτές. Παρότι έχει τις ρίζες του σε αθλητικές δραστηριότητες, το έργο αποτέλεσε μια μοναδική ευκαιρία να συνδεθούμε με το παρελθόν και να τιμήσουμε την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά της Ευρώπης και της Μικράς Ασίας.
