The European project HIKE4ALL continued its journey in the Czech Republic with a weekend of inclusive activities along the Cyril and Methodius Route, showing once again that hiking can be a powerful tool for accessibility, wellbeing and social participation. The events brought together participants, local communities, associations and stakeholders to promote outdoor activities open to everyone, regardless of age, background or ability.

On 29 – 31 May 2026, the HIKE4ALL project brought partners, local communities, families and stakeholders in Norway for three days dedicated to walking, inclusion and shared experiences along the Saint Olav Ways, organised in collaboration with the Borgleden Pilgrim Centre, Borg Diocese, the National Pilgrim Centre, “Back in the Ring” Association and the Association for the Route of St. Olav Ways (ACSOW).

On 21 – 23 May 2026, Altopascio (Tuscany) hosted the International Conference marking the 25th anniversary of the European Association of the Via Francigena ways (AEVF) and its General Assembly. Within this important European framework, the HIKE4ALL project was presented as one of the initiatives contributing to making cultural routes more accessible, inclusive and open to all.

On 17 – 19 April 2026, the European project HIKE4ALL was presented in Aquileia (Italy) during the Aquileia Walking Routes Festival, an event dedicated to European walking and pilgrimage routes, featuring hikes, talks, and activities that enhance sustainable tourism, heritage, and community engagement crossing Aquileia.
