On 16–17 May 2025, the HIKE project was presented during the General Assembly of the HIKE partner, European Association of the Via Francigena Ways (AEVF), held in the Department of Aube, Grand Est region, France.

Hiking Back in Time: Uncover Europe’s Historic Routes

In autumn 2024, the HIKE project brought participants together to celebrate healthy habits and active lifestyles through walking events across three countries. While rooted in sports, the project has also served as a unique opportunity to connect with the past and honour Europe’s cultural heritage.
